At Henry Riley we believe that the high calibre of service that we deliver comes down to the skill and quality of our people. This is underpinned by our corporate responsibilities.
We are committed to managing our business in an ethical and sustainable manner. It enables us to make a positive impact on our customers, our people, our environment, and the communities that we serve.
What's more, these undertakings provide the staff with a clear direction that reflects our vision for long term growth and development.
The Scope of our Environmental Management System is the provision of Construction Consultancy Services from our Head Office. This has also been adopted in our regional offices and includes:
a) Issues that may affect the environmental performance and its intended outcome shall be addressed when establishing the Environmental Management System.
b) We give due consideration to interested parties and their needs and expectations as defined within our Environmental Management System.
c) Our physical boundaries for the Environmental Management System are as defined in our ISO 14001 certified system.
d) In determining the scope of the Environmental Management System we demonstrate our commitment to the environment.
e) As a consultancy service the influence on the environment is limited to the office activities and delivery of the service at the customer’s premises, which includes promoting public transport by using Oyster Cards.
As part of our Vision to become a more sustainable business, and to further our commitment to the UN Global Compact, we aim to be Net Zero by 2040. We are pleased to confirm that we will be a Carbon Neutral Company by 2023. We are also currently working towards our ISO 14001:2015 certification.
