The Scope of our Environmental Management System is the provision of Construction Consultancy Services from our Head Office. This has also been adopted in our regional offices and includes:

a) Issues that may affect the environmental performance and its intended outcome shall be addressed when establishing the Environmental Management System.

b) We give due consideration to interested parties and their needs and expectations as defined within our Environmental Management System.

c) Our physical boundaries for the Environmental Management System are as defined in our ISO 14001 certified system.

d) In determining the scope of the Environmental Management System we demonstrate our commitment to the environment.

e) As a consultancy service the influence on the environment is limited to the office activities and delivery of the service at the customer’s premises, which includes promoting public transport by using Oyster Cards.


Customer satisfaction from high quality services is central to Henry Riley's business operations. To embed a focus on customer satisfaction, our business is independently certified to the international Quality Management standard ISO BS 9001:2015. 

Our Quality Management System (QMS) provides a framework that enables us to maintain a uniformly high quality of service to meet our clients' often demanding  requirements. It also ensures that we continuously improve the quality of our services.

We have held the Investors in People accreditation since 1998, being one of the first construction companies to gain this accreditation. The accreditation is widely recognised and evidences our values when it comes to our employees.

We recognise that our employees are the key to our success. We therefore ensure that we train and develop all of our employees so that they reach their full potential. The Investors in People framework allows us to explore and focus on key areas for employee and business development and our goals are kept fresh as we are assessed every three years as part of the accreditation process.

Accredited to a Gold Standard

Henry Riley is proud to announce that following a recent assessment, the company has been accredited by Investors in People to Gold standard. This standard is only awarded to the top 17% of employers.
