Project Description:
This project was part of a framework agreement, and consisted of the fit-out of an existing developer’s food retail shell to client standard specification. The store had a sales area of 3,000 sq ft and was completed over a four week construction programme.
The BIM trial included:
- Automated quantities from a BIM model
- Utilising agreed schedule of rates distinguishing between existing building elements and those to be constructed as part of the project
- Analysis of data created by designers including naming protocols
- Assisting with the creation of a common data environment.
